Realm Forge — Medieval Economy Idle Game
Rise from village blacksmith to emperor of the known world.
Realm Forge is a free browser-based medieval economy idle game. Hammer out swords at the forge, sell them into a living market with real supply and demand, and reinvest your gold in iron, workers and royal decrees — permanent upgrades that reshape your economy. What starts as one anvil grows into guild production chains, a kingdom, and finally an empire at war.
How to play
- Forge and sell — click to forge swords from iron, let the market auto-sell them, and balance your sale price against demand.
- Hire workers — Apprentices and Forge Masters keep production running while you plan.
- Build the Kingdom — chain Mining Guilds, Smelters and Arsenal Workshops into a production pipeline fed by farmland provisions.
- Conquer as the Empire — raise legions, choose a combat doctrine, claim territory and battle dragons for Glory.
- Research and reign — accumulate Knowledge, spend Inspiration, and climb Renown milestones that fund scholars and libraries.

- How long is a full campaign?
- A focused playthrough from village blacksmith to the endgame takes around 2-3 hours of play, with idle and offline progress stretching naturally over a few sessions.
- What are the four phases?
- Phase 1: The Village — forge swords and sell them at the market. Phase 2: The Kingdom — build Mining, Smelter and Arsenal guild chains. Phase 3: The Empire — raise legions, conquer territory and battle dragons for Glory. Phase 4: the endgame confrontation with the Dragon Emperor.
- Does Realm Forge progress while I am offline?
